What We Do
We run a booking and matching service, not a roofing firm. When you call or send a form, we take down what's happening on the roof and where, then connect you with an independent local roofing company from our partner network able to reach your address and suited to that job. We do not send our own crews and do not carry out roofing work ourselves.
The Partner Company
The roofing company that takes on your job is independently owned and run — it is not part of Derby Roofer Quality Repair & Replace. Your contract for the roofing work is with that company, not with us. They carry out their own survey, give their own written quote, do the work, and invoice and take payment from you directly. Any guarantee on the work is theirs, on whatever terms they offer.
Payments
We do not take payment or issue invoices for roofing work of any kind. Payment for a repair, survey or re-roof goes directly to the partner company that carried it out, on the terms agreed between you. Raise a billing query with that company in the first instance.
Quotes and Pricing
Pricing is set by the partner company after their own survey, not by us, and is put to you in writing before any work begins. We do not quote jobs or promise a price or a timescale on this website or over the phone. Ask the partner to walk you through their written quote before agreeing to anything.
Complaints and Problems
If something isn't right with the roofing work, raise it with the partner company first — they carried it out and are best placed to put it right. If you can't reach a resolution with them, call 07700 149979 and we'll help chase it up. We can't promise a particular outcome, since the work and the contract for it sit with the partner company rather than with us.
Our Responsibility
Our role is limited to taking your enquiry and arranging a match with a partner company, to the extent permitted by law. We are not responsible for that company's workmanship, pricing, scheduling or conduct. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, which cannot lawfully be excluded.
